Superintendents Update

The 2020-2021 school year will be unlike any other we have experienced in the history of the Stone County School District.  Like you, we have concerns regarding how these unusual times and circumstances will affect our students, faculty and staff.  The safety and wellbeing of each person is and always will be our top priority.  We have developed procedures to address many issues regarding transportation, nutrition, instruction and health.  While we have made every effort to be proactive, there is no perfect solution.  Just like every other district in the state, we make plans and constantly revamp them as changes occur.  It will take a collaborative effort between students, teachers, administrators and parents to ensure that each and every student receives the best education possible, whether it is in a traditional or virtual setting.  Your assistance and support as a parent or guardian is invaluable in this moment.  Together, we can achieve great things for the students of Stone County!
