Bond Issue Voting Information

Where to Vote

Voting on the bond issue will be held at your local voting precincts on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Polls will be open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. All qualified voters of the Stone County School District will be entitled to vote.

* Voters may register to vote in this election until April 15th at the Stone County Circuit Clerk's Office.

Absentee Voting

Absentee ballots are available and can be completed in-person weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Courthouse located at 323 E. Cavers Ave. The last day to submit an in-person absentee ballot is May 14, 2022 by 12P.M. . If you need an absentee ballot mailed to you, call the Cicruit Clerk’s Office at 601-928-5266 to request one. Absentee ballots by mail must be postmarked by May 17th and received by the clerk within five business days of the election date (May 24th). If you receive an absentee ballot by mail, it must be submitted by mail. The court is unable to accept mail-in ballots over the counter.
