Beta Club News

Welcome to the BETA Club !   (Look for BETA information to be posted around the school.)

Welcome to the Stone High BETA club for the 2017-2018 school year.  BETA club is a national honorary society that recognizes students with high academic achievement and good moral character. Students are invited to join if they have at least two consecutive grading periods with Honor Roll or Banner Roll status (no C’s or lower) and no serious discipline issues. You remain a member as long as you maintain these requirements. If your grades drop, you will be placed on probation for one semester to allow you to pull your grades up.

Our motto is Let us lead by serving others. We would like all members to commit to being leaders on our campus this year. We have several things we would like to accomplish as a club this year.  Please fill out the planning survey to help us determine what we should do this year. We would like everyone to help with our service projects and fundraising this year.

Our regular meetings are the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 7:15 in the Room 608.  If you cannot make this time, please stop by room 608 on the day of the meeting to sign the roll and receive information. We are asking all members to attend one meeting per month and do one service project per month. If you come by room 608 later that day, that will count as your meeting. Our faculty advisors for this year are: Mr.James Burton and Mrs. Tanya Jackson-Hall.

The one time dues are $20.00 to join the National Senior BETA club. You do not have to pay this fee again as long as you remain a member of the BETA club in high school.
